About Me

David self-portrait

I was born in the US, but I grew up in Canada, so both feel like home. I traveled North America and East Asia for eight years as an actor/director with Covenant Players before returning to school at University of Wisconsin-Madison. My wife and I moved our home to Concordia International School Shanghai in 2003 and were soon joined by our daughters and lights of our lives, Z and J. I completed my Masters in Educational Technology with Michigan State University in 2008. Hong Kong changed from our favorite getaway to home in 2012 when I took a position as Digital and Design Technology Teacher with Canadian International School of Hong Kong.

TL;DR: I’m a Yankee-Canuck-Non-touring-CPer-Badger-Phoenix-Spartan-Timberwolf-Nerd-Husband-Daddy.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

  1. Dear Mr. Larson,
May I use your worksheet about the Ladder of Prejudice with my 10th grade Honors classes?
    Thank you,
